8 Months Old

Emily - you are 8 months old today!!

What are you up to?

• You are wearing size 6-9 month clothes
• You wear a size 3 diaper
•  Your eyes are a mixture of blue and brown
• You have so much hair!  In fact, people always comment on your hair and your cheeks when they see you!
• You are eating fruit and cereal for breakfast, and a meat/veggie combo for dinner, with anywhere from 5-7 bottles/nursings in between.  This week you have started eating the whole jar for dinner, plus some fruit too! We have been giving you some teething biscuits, and Baby Mum Mum's and you enjoy munching on them.
• You love drinking out of your sippy cup.  Even though most of it runs down your chin, you get a little mad when I take it away from you to eat!
• Although for a few weeks you were waking up every 3 hours during the night, you have gone back to sleeping through the night (and Mommy and Daddy are so happy!)
• You are a happy baby - always excited to see me when I pick you up from Ms. Paula's, and excited to see Daddy, Melissa, and Puppy too!
• You are very adventurous - you will climb into things and crawl to things that I never expected you to.

• You will follow me anywhere!
• Even though you just started crawling about a month ago, you are already pulling yourself up! 
• You don't have any teeth yet, but we keep watching for them any day now!

You are growing up so fast! We love you Emily!
