11 Months Old

Emily - you are 11 months old today!!

What are you up to?

• You are still wearing size 6-9 month clothes, but could probably wear 12 month clothes, so Mommy will work on switching them out soon.
• You wear a size 3 diaper.
• You weigh almost 20 lbs. 
• You enjoy walking if you hold onto someone's finger, and so you  have also recently discovered that you love wearing your shoes!  If you see them, you crawl over and put them against your feet!

• Your eyes are still a mixture of blue and brown , and your hair is getting more and more golden
• You still eat some baby food at Ms. Paula's, but at home you eat what we eat.  You love pork chops and chicken!
• You take 2 naps a day, and usually are in bed by  8:00. 
• You enjoy giving everyone big, sloppy, kisses on their cheek.
• You acknowledge Daddy by saying "Da-da!" when you see him
• Your vocabulary includes "Vroom, Vroom", "Uh-oh", "Woof", but you understand so much more - binky, duck, Mommy, Melissa or Sister, Puppy.
• You love when we sing songs, especially "If you're happy and you know it"!.  You love to clap your hands and dance!
• You can stand on your own and I can tell that you are working on your balance and that you are thinking about how to move your feet forward to begin walking.
• You still love your binky!

 

It's amazing that you are already 11 months!  You are growing up so fast!  We all love you so much!
