A quick post today to share how Melissa's mind is growing. Yesterday she did two things that surprised me and Eric.
1) We had a lengthy conversation as she tried to figure out who was a boy and a girl. Mommy is a girl, Daddy is a boy, Miss Elsa is a girl, Ashton is a boy, etc. It was neat to see her working on being able to tell the difference.
2) She pretended her cantaloupe was a car and a piece of waffle was a train. Why is this significant to us? Food has nothing to do with cars or trains, but she was able to use her imagination to pretend that it is. No lecture today on Not playing with her food!
