Worldfest

Eric headed to Waco on Saturday for the A&M game, so Melissa and I went to Wolf Pen Creek to check out the Brazos Valley Worldfest.

We got bundled up since it was pretty chilly that morning.

Andrew was one of the first performers.  He participates in the Kick Start program at Davilla Middle School.  It was really neat to watch all of the kids listen their instructor, Mr. G., and move in unison.

Once his routine was over, we got ready to tour the different countries:

Stopped in the Kid's Village to make some crafts.  Jennifer and Alexis are making a whale.

And so is Melissa.  Man, she loved that glue!  We also painted and decorated fans.

The highlight (or at least what Melissa kept talking about) was getting to see and pet a camel.

Lexi and Brandon enjoyed it too!

Mandy was also there helping several organizations with their booths through the International Student Association, but we only got to see her briefly since she was working.  It was a busy, but fun day!
