Update on Athena

For those that don't know, Athena hurt her leg Friday evening. We watched it all weekend to see if she would start walking on it, but she was still hopping around on 3 legs this morning. We took her to the vet today and confirmed that she has indeed torn her ACL.

So now we have to decide how to treat it, which is a tough decision to make. Each one has it's pros and cons. Do we go with surgery, and if so which one? Do we do nothing? Many, many thanks to J for all of his helpful information. Does anyone out there have any personal experience dealing with this? Any advice would be appreciated.

We need to get her better soon. Melissa doesn't understand why she can't crawl over her "Puh!" like she normally does.
