10 Months Old

Emily - you are 10 months old today!!

What are you up to?

• You are wearing size 6-9 month clothes
• You have some new teeth that are trying to make their appearance on your top gum. This is giving Mommy and Ms. Paula some issues as you are very clingy/irritable.
• You wear a size 3 diaper

• Your eyes are still a mixture of blue and brown , and your hair seems to be getting a bit lighter.
• You are basically done with baby food at home.  Ms. Paula still feeds it to you during the day, but we just give you small pieces of what we eat.  Chicken, peas, carrots, bananas, watermelon, cantaloupe, avacado, etc.  Me-ma even gave you some cinnamon roll this past Sunday (Mommy didn't think you needed all of that icing!)
• You take 2 naps a day, and usually are in bed by  8:00.  We swaddle you for all three.  
• You enjoy giving Mommy big, sloppy, kisses on my cheek, and love to "bonk" your head against someone else!
• You love to say "Vroom, Vroom" as you play with toy cars.
• You will repeat it when I say "Uh-oh" if you drop something.
• You shriek in excitement when you chase Melissa as she rides her bike around the living room.
• You can still walk around, as long as you can hold onto something, but definitely not ready to let go yet. 
• You love your binky!
• You love to play Peek-A-Boo!  You will hold a blanket to your face, hide behind a toy, or let us hide while we play! 
• Daddy and I were talking last night about how you are such a laid back baby.  So easy going, unless something is wrong (like teething!). 
• You can be loud if you want to, but you are just being happy loud!

 

We can't believe that you are already 10 months old.  You are such a wonderful gift to our family and we love you so much!
