1 Year Old

Melissa - you turned 1 today!

What are you up to?

• You still love to eat, but you are becoming more picky about what you eat. If you don't like it, you will spit it out!
  
• You are now trying to use a spoon to feed yourself
• You are sleeping through the night, BUT you have to fall asleep listening to your seahorse play it's music. It never fails that if we don't play it, you wake up
  
• You are now wearing your 12 month clothes and wearing a size 3 diaper
• Your eyes are still blue, but your hair is lighter than when you were born. It's starting to really grow!

• You point at things with your finger
• You can say (in your own words) Ball (bah!), Banana (nana!), Puppy (Puh!)
• You like to give high five's and kisses to Mommy and Daddy
• You understand so much of what we say to you
• When we ask you what is in your mouth, you stick your tongue out and say "Aahh"
  
• You are really starting to walk now. It seems like this weekend is when it all started to click for you. It's so fun to see you get excited when you walk somewhere.
• You are such a happy, content baby.
  

We can't believe that a whole year has already passed!
