Melissa moved up to the 2 year old room on Monday and she did really well this week. Much better than the last time she was in a new classroom. We still have tears in the morning (which we have always had - even at Miss Connie's), but the teacher gives good reports every day that she is participating in the activities and having fun playing.
She was the oldest in her room and was pushing the boundaries more and more. Eric and I think she was getting bored and finding ways to amuse herself. The daycare moves the children up in August, like a normal school year, and we agreed that it was ok to move her directly to the 2 year old room instead of to the 18 to 24 month room. She will be exposed to activities, learning, and toys geared toward her age group, and they will also work on potty training. She knows a lot of the teachers and her other friends are right around the corner, which has helped make the transition easier.

We are moving up to Toddler I next week...crazy times. Elizabeth has been pushing the boundaries in her current class room now. Aww...boredome for the little ones, it's scary.
